curbi uses two key technologies to get the job done.
The first is called Mobile Device Management and is a technology provided by Apple and Google to help with remote management of iOS and Android devices. This is how we can change device settings by 'remote control'.
The second is content filtering. Once curbi is installed on your child's device, all internet traffic goes through curbi, so that you can control all content going to the device. This allows you to block things like Facebook, regardless of how your child might get there. Whether they use any number of browsers available, or the Facebook app itself, curbi has you covered.
On Android we have an additional feature known as 'Device Administrator' mode. This allows the curbi app, installed on your child's device, to do things like preventing an app from starting and recording application run times.
